The road to the 2026 Elimination Chamber is taking shape, with Je’Von Evans and Asuka securing their places in their respective matches following victories on Monday night’s edition of WWE Raw. Both athletes demonstrated resilience and skill, overcoming formidable opponents to earn their spots in the high-stakes event scheduled for February 28th in Chicago.

Evans’ path to qualification was particularly dramatic, culminating in a triple threat match against Gunther and Dominik Mysterio. The contest was immediately characterized by intensity, with Gunther asserting early dominance. Mysterio attempted to avoid direct confrontation, but found himself quickly embroiled in the physicality of the match. The turning point arrived with the unexpected intervention of Dragon Lee, who, continuing a feud with Gunther stemming from Gunther’s recent retirement of AJ Styles, attacked the Ring General with the ring bell. This created an opening for Evans, who capitalized on the chaos. After Mysterio’s failed frog splash attempt, Evans connected with his signature OG Cutter, securing the pinfall victory and his place in the Elimination Chamber.

Earlier in the evening, Asuka earned her qualification through a triple threat match against Natalya and Bayley. The match was a showcase of technical wrestling and strategic maneuvering. Bayley came close to victory with an elbow drop on Asuka, but Natalya intervened to break up the pin. A German suplex by Natalya on Bayley was followed by Asuka re-entering the fray, locking Bayley into the Asuka Lock. Natalya then applied a sharpshooter to Asuka, but Bayley disrupted the hold with a running knee. Bayley followed up with a Bayley-to-Belly suplex on Asuka, only for Asuka to counter with a Rose Plant and ultimately secure the submission victory with the Asuka Lock, solidifying her position in the Women’s Elimination Chamber.

The victories for Evans and Asuka add further intrigue to the Elimination Chamber lineups. Evans joins Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and LA Knight in the men’s match, while Asuka aligns with Tiffany Stratton, Rhea Ripley, and Alexa Bliss in the women’s competition. The remaining spots in both matches will be determined in the coming days, with qualifying matches scheduled for this Friday’s SmackDown and next week’s Raw.

On SmackDown, Carmelo Hayes will face Trick Williams and Damian Priest in a triple threat match, with the winner advancing to the Elimination Chamber. The women’s division will also see action, as Nia Jax battles Charlotte Flair and Kiana James for a coveted spot. Next week’s Raw will host further qualifying contests, with Raquel Rodriguez competing against IYO SKY and Kairi, and Bronson Reed facing Jey Uso and El Grande Americano in another triple threat match.

The current Elimination Chamber card also features championship matches. CM Punk will defend his World Heavyweight title against Finn Balor, and Becky Lynch will defend her Women’s Intercontinental title against AJ Lee. These title matches add another layer of excitement to an already compelling event.

The stakes are high as the remaining qualifying matches approach. The outcomes will not only finalize the Elimination Chamber lineups but also significantly impact the trajectories of the competitors involved. The Elimination Chamber, known for its brutal and unpredictable nature, promises to be a pivotal event in the WWE calendar, setting the stage for storylines and rivalries that will unfold throughout the year.
