Boise State men’s basketball will undergo a complete roster overhaul ahead of its move to the Pac-12, as senior-to-be wing Andrew Meadow has announced his intention to enter the transfer portal. The news, first reported by DraftExpress’ Jonathan Givony on Thursday morning, means the Broncos will have an entirely new starting five for the 2026-27 season.

Meadow, a key starter for Boise State, played in all 32 games last season, averaging 12.1 points and 3.6 rebounds. He demonstrated strong shooting ability, connecting on 39 percent of his three-point attempts (44 of 114) and 51 percent of his overall field goals (133 of 261). Givony noted that Meadow is expected to attract significant interest from high-major programs.

Originally from Southern California’s West Ranch High School, Meadow was a highly-recruited prospect. He was ranked as the No. 38 overall player in California and the No. 53 power forward nationally by 247Sports when he signed with Boise State, choosing the Broncos over offers from New Mexico, San Diego State, UNLV, Washington, and Washington State.

Meadow’s departure follows similar announcements from several other Boise State players. Shooting guard RJ Keene II, forward Javan Buchanan, and center Drew Fielder have also entered the transfer portal. Point guard Dylan Andrews has exhausted his eligibility, as has backup center Dominic Parolin. Fielder, who averaged 14.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists while shooting 41 percent from beyond the arc, is also a highly sought-after transfer.

Meadow’s playing career at Boise State included a role as a key reserve during his freshman year and 35 starts in the 2024-25 season, where he averaged 12.6 points and 4.2 rebounds. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

The transfer portal window is set to open on Tuesday, initiating a period of significant change for the Boise State basketball program as it prepares to compete in the Pac-12 conference this summer. The program faces the challenge of rebuilding its roster with the departure of all five starters.
