What Happened?

A knife‍ attack at Westfield Bondi junction in Sydney, New South ​Wales, on ​Saturday, ​December 16, 2023, left six people ⁢dead and at least 20 injured. The attacker, identified as 40-year-old Farhad ‍Jafari, was subdued by a ⁣lone police officer and is currently hospitalized.
