The French Senate has adopted a legislative text proposed by the Republicans that increases the maximum duration of administrative detention for certain foreign nationals. The measures extend the retention period from 90 days to either 180 or 210 days.
Funding of Migrant Aid Associations
In addition to the legislative changes regarding detention limits, EPR deputy Charles Rodwell is challenging the funding provided to associations that offer assistance to migrants within administrative detention centers (CRAs).
