Denis Ruscheinsky has been appointed as the new Global Head of Sales & Marketing for the VDE Group, specifically for the areas of Testing, Inspection, Certification (TIC) and Technical Advisory (TA).
The announcement was made by the VDE Prüf- und Zertifizierungsinstitut GmbH, confirming that Ruscheinsky assumes the newly created position to realign the group’s global sales and marketing efforts.
In this role, he will focus on strengthening sales synergies across the VDE Group’s business areas and expanding market penetration through targeted strategies.
Ruscheinsky brings more than 14 years of leadership experience, with proven expertise in TIC, risk management, and occupational safety.
Prior to joining VDE, he served as Head of Sales and Marketing at DEKRA Testing and Certification GmbH, where he led the strategic realignment of the go-to-market approach and oversaw sales and marketing planning for future-critical topics including hydrogen, battery technology, and “Digital Trust” — encompassing cyber security, functional safety, and artificial intelligence.
Before his tenure at DEKRA, Ruscheinsky spent over twelve years in various leadership roles at International SOS, a global provider of international health and safety risk services.
During his time at International SOS, he held the position of Strategic Accounts and Partnerships Director, where he led international teams, built strategic partnerships, and developed new market segments.
He is recognized as an expert and coach in modern sales methodologies such as “Value Selling” (SPIN) and “Targeted Relationship Selling” (Miller Heiman).
His appointment follows the departure of Sven Öhrke, who left the VDE Group the previous year.
The VDE Group states that Ruscheinsky’s combined business acumen and technical expertise will enable him to drive vertriebliche Synergien (sales synergies) and further strengthen the group’s market position in key technological sectors.
