France Launches Sport & Employment Action Plan 2026-2027 to Support 100,000 People

France Travail announced on June 5, 2026, the launch of its “Sport & Emploi 2026-2027” action plan, an initiative designed to integrate athletic activity into the professional reintegration process for job seekers.

The national employment agency established a target to accompany 100,000 people through the program over the 2026-2027 period. The initiative is positioned as a strategic effort to use sport as an accelerator for employment opportunities.

The launch of this action plan follows previous results that indicated a positive correlation between sporting activities and the ability of individuals to secure employment. Based on these outcomes, the agency is scaling the approach to reach a larger segment of the unemployed population.
