Aroob Jatoi, Wife of YouTuber Ducky Bhai, Receives Bail Extension in Gambling App Case
– A Lahore court on Wednesday extended the interim bail of Aroob Jatoi, wife of YouTuber Saadur Rehman, known professionally as Ducky Bhai, until March 24 in a case concerning the alleged promotion of an online gambling application.
The hearing took place before Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Ali Qureshi. Jatoi appeared in court accompanied by her legal representatives, Osman and Aftab Advocate, according to reports.
During the proceedings, the investigating officer from the National Coordination Centre for Cybercrime Investigation and Analysis (NCCIA) requested permission to conduct a forensic examination of Jatoi’s mobile phone. The court granted this request, allowing the examination to proceed expeditiously.
However, Jatoi’s lawyer requested that the forensic report be scheduled for review after the month of Ramazan, citing a potential need for more than one to two weeks to complete the analysis. The court acknowledged this request and adjusted the timeline accordingly.
Judge Qureshi emphasized the importance of Jatoi’s continued presence at future court hearings. He stated that exemptions from attendance would no longer be granted, requiring her to appear in person for all subsequent proceedings.
The case was registered by the NCCIA following allegations that Jatoi promoted online gambling platforms. The extension of her bail allows the investigation to continue while ensuring her temporary release under legal supervision.
This development follows a separate case involving Ducky Bhai himself, who has filed an appeal against his physical remand in connection with the same gambling app promotion allegations, as reported by Images Dawn.
