Hyte X50 PC Case: Now $129.99 – Lowest Price Yet!

Hyte, known for its distinctive PC case designs, is currently offering its X50 mid-tower chassis at a record low price of $129.99 on Amazon. Originally launched at $149.99, the glass version of the X50 is available in black, white, and pink, representing a 20% discount. The white and pink color options are available in limited quantities.

The Hyte X50 first appeared at Computex 2025, showcasing a unique aesthetic that deviates from traditional PC case designs. The case features rounded steel frames combined with micro-mesh panels and a 4mm thick laminated glass side panel. Hyte emphasized extensive research and development in perfecting the micro-mesh pattern and achieving precise curves, utilizing automotive-grade tooling to attain tolerances four times higher than industry standards.

Beyond its visual design, the X50 prioritizes airflow and thermal performance. The rear panel incorporates horizontal vent slats designed to reduce exhaust impedance and enhance structural rigidity. The case supports up to 10 fans, accommodating three 120mm fans at the bottom and offering options for 360mm All-in-One (AIO) liquid coolers at the front or side. A dedicated canopy at the rear-top provides space for a full-size ATX power supply and facilitates cable management, including a cutout for the PSU cooling fan.

The X50 offers substantial clearance for high-end components. It supports GPUs up to 430mm in length and 160mm in height, and CPU coolers up to 170mm tall. Tom’s Hardware testing last year demonstrated the X50’s performance capabilities. In CPU-only stress tests, the case delivered excellent results. When paired with an RTX 4070 Ti Super, GPU temperatures averaged 63.7°C, positioning the X50 favorably in thermal performance comparisons. The case also performed well when noise levels were normalized to around 38.9 dBA.

The Hyte X50 is available through multiple retailers. IBuyPower currently lists the Snow White version for $129.99, while Hyte’s own store offers the “Wild Cherry” red variant. The X50 Air model is priced at $119.99 MSRP plus VAT/Tariff. The case’s specifications include dimensions of 485mm (H) x 510mm (L) x 255mm (W), constructed from 1mm thick steel, ABS plastic, and 4mm thick laminated acoustic glass.

Hyte’s design philosophy for the X50 centers around creating a visually appealing and functionally efficient case. The use of laminated acoustic glass aims to reduce noise transmission, while the full-coverage micro-mesh and patent-pending louvered blade ventilation contribute to optimal airflow.
