Brittney Aitkens, the daughter of rapper Ja Rule and her husband, Tevin ‘Tiki’ Aitkens, have welcomed their first child.
Tevin Aitkens announced the arrival of their daughter on April 29, 2026, through a social media post that included a photograph of Brittney in a hospital bed holding the newborn.
“She is here. Truly an amazing moment to experience with my wife. A pain I would never want to endure. Thank you for giving me my baby girl. Thank you to all friends and family for all the love and support you guys continue to give us. Now it’s time for the sleepless nights lol #TeamDad”

The birth follows a strawberry-themed baby shower the couple hosted in New Jersey in March 2026, where they were joined by friends and family.
The pregnancy was first made public by Ja Rule on October 16, 2025, during an appearance on the talk show hosted by Sherri Shepherd. During the broadcast, the musician stated that he was about to be a grandfather
.
Ja Rule described the specific way Brittney revealed the news to him and his wife, noting that she used a sonogram and a card to share the surprise.
“She put the sonogram in a box and a card that said, ‘You are now a grandma and grandfather,’ she said, ‘I got a gift for you guys.’ And we thought it was a real gift—I mean that is a real gift, don’t get me wrong! But we go and open it up, and she has the camera on me to see me and my wife’s expressions. It was an amazing moment.”

The wedding featured a Great Gatsby-inspired theme and hosted a guest list of 250 people.
