The basketball championship was clinched with a 78-72 victory over BK Ventspils in Game 7 of the Latvian Basketball League finals, completing the triple crown after RSU’s ice hockey team won its title on March 28, 2026, and the men’s volleyball team claimed gold on April 5, 2026.
