The South African player, who hails from the Western Cape, originally joined Bath Rugby to undergo a period of rehabilitation with the club’s medical team.
Le Roux signed his first contract with the club during the 2023/24 season and made a total of 16 appearances in Blue, Black and White.
Club Career and Development
Le Roux joined the club in February 2024, a signing that took place while he still required rehabilitation from injury.
During the 2024-25 season, he featured in the Premiership Rugby Cup, making his debut against Ampthill RUFC in November 2024.
He continued to contribute to the squad in February 2025, scoring a try in a 43-26 victory over the Bedford Blues.
Following his progress, Bath extended le Roux’s contract in May 2025.
The now 21-year-old
was part of the Bath squad during the 2024-25 season, in which the club achieved a treble.
Background and International Experience
Before his move to England, le Roux attended Hoër Landbouskool Oakdale secondary school in Riversdale, Western Cape, and was a member of the Bulls youth squad in South Africa.
At the international level, he represented South Africa in the under-20 category.
His international experience includes playing in the 2023 U20 World Cup.
Following his exit from Bath, It’s believed that le Roux will join the Bulls.
