Bratislava – The stage is set for a compelling return of familiar faces to the dance floor as “Let’s Dance” prepares to welcome back celebrated contestants from previous seasons. The upcoming series promises a unique blend of nostalgia and fresh competition, featuring individuals who have left a lasting impression on viewers with their performances, charisma, and personal journeys.
As the start of the 11th season of the popular Slovakian dance competition nears, organizers have revealed not only the competing celebrities but also the judging panel and hosts. Now, attention turns to the professional dancers who will partner with the stars, presenting a new challenge: forging a connection and finding synergy with new collaborators. The pairings for this season are as follows:

- Gabriela Marcinková (37) – Jaroslav Ihring (39)
- Kristián Baran (30) – Eliška Lenčešová (25)
- Petra Polnišová (49) – Vilém Šír (26)
- Jakub Jablonský (31) – Anna Riebauerová (26)
- Juraj Mokrý (48) – Natália Glosíková (35)
- Jana Hospodárová (49) – Fabio Belluci (35)
- Nela Pocisková (35) – Filip Kucman (26)
- Zuzana Porubjaková (40) – Matyáš Adamec (26)
- Vladimír Kobielsky (50) – Natália Horváthová (34)
According to Pepe Majeský, the creative producer and director of the show, the returning dancers are entering a familiar environment but face a new hurdle: adapting to their new partners. “The dancers are returning to a setting they know well, but the new challenge for them is their dance partner. They are once again going through a process of getting to know each other – finding common energy, harmony, and discovering their strengths and limitations. However, this is not the only challenge awaiting them in this series,” Majeský stated.
The show’s promotional campaign utilizes a powerful visual metaphor, portraying the dance floor as an arena and the contestants as warriors – experienced, respected, and prepared to compete before a live audience. Michal Borec, Director of Marketing at Markíza, explained the concept: “Let’s Dance has earned an exceptional position over the years. We see this season as a celebration of everything that defines it – talent, stories, and the personalities that make it up. The ancient coliseum was a place where the best met, and where the audience decided the fate of the warriors. That’s exactly how Let’s Dance works.”
Borec continued, “Visually, we wanted to create a world that would be majestic and immediately readable. The warrior is not in a negative sense – We see a symbol of discipline, respect, and determination. These are the values that connect dance and this series of Let’s Dance.”
The return of these established competitors signals a strategic move by Markíza, the broadcasting network, to capitalize on existing fan bases and generate heightened interest in the show. By bringing back recognizable faces, the network aims to leverage pre-existing audience engagement and create a sense of anticipation for the upcoming season. This approach is common in the reality television landscape, where established personalities can drive viewership and social media buzz.
The success of this strategy will likely depend on the chemistry between the returning dancers and their new partners, as well as the overall production quality and the appeal of the judging panel. The show’s ability to maintain its established brand identity while introducing fresh elements will be crucial in attracting and retaining viewers in a competitive television market.
While the broader economic implications of a television show are limited, the success of “Let’s Dance” contributes to the overall health of the Slovakian media industry. Advertising revenue generated by the show supports the network and related businesses, and the program’s popularity can have a positive impact on tourism and local businesses in the area where it is filmed.
