Marvel Studios will return to San Diego Comic-Con 2026 with a panel in Hall H, marking its first appearance in the venue since 2024 to promote the upcoming film “Avengers: Doomsday.”
The studio’s return was confirmed by TheWrap, which reported exclusively that Marvel will occupy its traditional Saturday night slot in Hall H at the 2026 convention. This follows Marvel’s absence from Hall H in 2025 due to production commitments on “Avengers: Doomsday.”
According to TheWrap’s report, Marvel Studios last appeared in Hall H in 2024, when it revealed that Robert Downey Jr. Would portray Victor Von Doom in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the Russo brothers set to direct both “Avengers: Doomsday” and the subsequent “Avengers: Secret Wars.”
The upcoming Hall H presentation will focus on “Avengers: Doomsday,” which is scheduled for theatrical release on December 18, 2026. The film’s panel is expected to take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, as the final major panel of the day in Hall H.
In addition to the Hall H panel, Marvel plans to maintain a significant presence on the show floor at the San Diego Convention Center during Comic-Con 2026. The company will also participate in Disney’s D23 event in Anaheim in August 2026.
Marvel’s 2026 Comic-Con appearance comes after a promotional campaign that began in March 2025 with a record-breaking five-hour-plus cast announcement livestream. This was followed by the release of four individual teasers for “Avengers: Doomsday” in December 2025 and January 2026, which were attached to screenings of “Avatar: Fire and Ash” and collectively garnered over one billion views online.
The studio’s return to Hall H coincides with plans for a theatrical re-release of “Avengers: Endgame” on September 25, 2026, which will precede the debut of “Avengers: Doomsday” later that year.
As Marvel prepares for its Hall H return, industry observers note that the presentation is likely to include major announcements related to the film’s cast and potential future projects, particularly given the studio’s history of using the platform to reveal significant Marvel Cinematic Universe developments.
