FIAT has unveiled the QUBO L, a new vehicle positioned as a family mover designed for urban living and outdoor activities. The model is introduced with multiple powertrain options, including diesel, petrol, and electric variants, to accommodate different driver preferences and usage patterns.
The QUBO L is available in two primary configurations: a 5-seater short wheelbase version measuring 4.40 meters and a 7-seater long wheelbase version measuring 4.75 meters. According to Stellantis Media, the 7-seater configuration features three individually adjustable seats in the second row and two extractable seats on rails in the third row, allowing for 144 possible seating combinations.
Powertrain and Performance Specifications
The QUBO L serves as the only diesel model currently in FIAT’s range. The diesel lineup includes a 130hp automatic option and manual versions available in both 100hp and 130hp configurations. These diesel engines provide a driving range of up to 900 km on a full tank, targeting long-distance travel and urban commutes.
For drivers seeking non-diesel alternatives, FIAT is offering a 110hp petrol engine. A 136hp electric variant is available specifically for the 5-seater version of the vehicle.
Design and Utility Features
The vehicle is designed with a focus on flexibility and storage, featuring 27 storage compartments. To accommodate bulky or long items, the front passenger seat is foldable, which enables a loading depth of up to 3 meters.
FIAT has integrated several specialized features to enhance practicality, including Magic Windows
, a multi-purpose glass roof. This design allows users to access storage or retrieve items from the luggage shelf without opening the tailgate, while increasing natural light within the cabin.
The vehicle also includes Extended Grip Control, a feature intended to improve the vehicle’s ability to handle various driving conditions.
Trim Levels and Customization
The QUBO L will be marketed across three distinct trim levels: POP, ICON, and LA PRIMA. Customers can choose from a specific color palette consisting of:
- Gelato White
- Cinema Black
- (RED)
- Foresta Green
- Riviera Blue
The model was officially unveiled on January 9, 2026, and is expected to arrive at dealerships in early 2026.
