WWE President Nick Khan has acknowledged that hosting WrestleMania in Las Vegas for two consecutive years presented a greater challenge than the company initially anticipated.

During a company town hall held on April 28, 2026, Khan addressed the decision to hold WrestleMania 42 at Allegiant Stadium, the same venue that hosted WrestleMania 41 the previous year.

According to audio obtained by Post Wrestling, Khan took personal responsibility for the scheduling choice, stating that the decision to return to the stadium was ultimately my decision.

Maybe we don’t do that one again in terms of back-to-back, but ultimately it ended up being a successful event

While WWE has not yet released the official revenue figures for the weekend, the event is believed to have resulted in the largest total financial windfall in the history of the company. This financial success comes despite a recorded decrease in ticket sales for both nights of the event.

The decision to bring the event back to Las Vegas included significant financial incentives. WWE is expected to receive approximately $10 million in site fees and tax credits, in addition to the revenue generated from sponsorships and ticket sales.

The shift to Las Vegas for WrestleMania 42 represented a change in the company’s original planning, as New Orleans had been the city originally slated to host the event.

Future WrestleMania Locations

Looking ahead to future installments of the company’s flagship event, WWE has announced that WrestleMania 43 will take place in Saudi Arabia for the first time.
