While WWE has not yet released the official revenue figures for the weekend, the event is believed to have resulted in the largest total financial windfall in the history of the company. This financial success comes despite a recorded decrease in ticket sales for both nights of the event.
The decision to bring the event back to Las Vegas included significant financial incentives. WWE is expected to receive approximately $10 million in site fees and tax credits, in addition to the revenue generated from sponsorships and ticket sales.
The shift to Las Vegas for WrestleMania 42 represented a change in the company’s original planning, as New Orleans had been the city originally slated to host the event.
Future WrestleMania Locations
Looking ahead to future installments of the company’s flagship event, WWE has announced that WrestleMania 43 will take place in Saudi Arabia for the first time.
During the town hall call, Khan also teased a future announcement regarding the location for the 2028 event, telling attendees, Wait until you hear the announcement on where we’re going to be for WrestleMania in 2028
