Swedish pop icon Robyn is bringing her distinctive blend of electronic music and emotionally resonant songwriting back to Australia for the first time in fourteen years. The artist has announced a two-city arena tour slated for November 2026, marking her most substantial Australian performances since appearing at the Parklife Festival in 2012.

The tour will see Robyn take the stage at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on November 21, 2026, and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on November 24, 2026. These shows are part of a larger global tour supporting her forthcoming album, Sexistential, due to be released on March 27, 2026.

Sexistential represents Robyn’s first full-length album in eight years, following 2018’s critically acclaimed Honey. The new record arrives after a period of selective touring and signals a renewed focus on large-scale performances. Robyn previewed the album with the release of singles “Talk To Me” and “Sexistential,” building on the momentum of the earlier track “Dopamine.”

In discussing the emotional core of Sexistential, Robyn described a feeling of inward focus after a period of outward exploration. “It’s like a spaceship coming through the atmosphere at a really high speed and crash landing,” she stated. “That’s how I felt — like I’d been searching too far out into space, and now I’m crashing back into myself.” This introspective quality has long been a hallmark of her work, setting her apart in the often-glossy world of pop music.

Robyn’s influence on contemporary pop and electronic music is undeniable. Her 2010 Body Talk trilogy – comprised of Body Talk Pt. 1, Body Talk Pt. 2, and Body Talk – is widely considered a defining moment in dance-pop, producing enduring hits like “Dancing On My Own,” “Call Your Girlfriend,” and “Indestructible.” These tracks, and the albums they came from, helped to reshape the sound of the 2010s, blending club-ready beats with deeply personal and often melancholic lyrics.

The Australian tour announcement comes on the heels of news that Robyn will also be opening select European dates for Harry Styles later this year. This pairing, while seemingly disparate, highlights Robyn’s continued relevance and appeal to a broad audience. It also suggests a willingness to collaborate and engage with artists across different genres.

Tickets for the Australian shows will be released through a tiered pre-sale system. Mastercard holders will have first access, beginning on February 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time. A Live Nation Members pre-sale will follow on February 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM local time. General public ticket sales are scheduled to begin on February 13, 2026, at 12:00 PM local time.

While the Australian dates represent a significant commitment, further international tour dates across Europe and North America are anticipated to be announced in the coming months. This suggests a comprehensive touring schedule designed to reach fans worldwide and support the release of Sexistential.

Robyn’s return to Australia is not simply a nostalgia play; it’s a testament to her enduring artistry and her ability to connect with audiences on a deeply emotional level. After a period of relative quiet, she is poised to reassert her position as one of the most innovative and influential voices in pop music. The 2026 tour promises to be a highlight for Australian fans who have long awaited her return, and a significant moment in the artist’s ongoing career.
