Rumen Radev’s Coalition Wins Bulgaria’s Parliamentary Election

Bulgaria’s center-left coalition led by former President Rumen Radev has secured a decisive victory in the country’s parliamentary election, according to the Central Electoral Commission, marking the end of five years of political fragmentation and frequent government changes.

The new government will inherit a struggling healthcare system, persistent corruption perceptions, and demographic decline driven by emigration and low birth rates. Radev’s allies have emphasized that their mandate is to govern inclusively and restore public trust in institutions.
