Seattle’s Path to the Quarterfinals

The Seattle Sounders advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the Round of 16 with a 5-1 aggregate victory. The Sounders secured a 3-0 win in the first leg held at BC Place in Vancouver, where Paul Arriola scored twice and Paul Rothrock added one goal.

In the second leg, played on Wednesday, March 12, 2026, in Spokane, Washington, Seattle won 2-1. Vancouver opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a goal from Jeevan Badwal.
