Sportradar Group AG has renewed its multi-year agreement with the All England Lawn Tennis Club to remain the exclusive global distributor of official data and audiovisual betting rights for The Championships, Wimbledon. The extension, which lasts beyond 2026, covers both the main draw and the qualifying competition according to Sport Industry Group.
The deal ensures that licensed betting operators and media partners continue to receive official Wimbledon data. This pipeline supports broadcast services and the operation of in-play betting markets for one of the most watched sporting events in the United Kingdom.
What does the Sportradar and Wimbledon agreement cover?
The renewed contract maintains Sportradar’s role as the exclusive global distributor for the tournament’s official data and audiovisual betting rights. This exclusivity applies to the entirety of the event, spanning both the qualifying rounds and the main draw.

By controlling the distribution of this data, Sportradar provides the technical infrastructure necessary for real-time betting. This includes the delivery of accurate match statistics and audiovisual feeds that allow operators to offer live wagering options to users globally.
The company’s reach in the sport is significant. Sportradar currently distributes data from more than 40,000 tennis matches every year across its global network.
How did Sportradar acquire these rights?
Sportradar did not hold these rights from the start of its operations. The company initially secured the Wimbledon rights following its acquisition of IMG ARENA in 2025.
The current multi-year extension builds on that foundation, signaling a continued partnership between the Swiss-based data firm and the All England Club. The move comes amid a broader trend of rights holders seeking official data partnerships to protect the integrity of their competitions.
Why is official data critical for tennis betting?
Official data is essential for maintaining market integrity, particularly in regulated environments like the UK. When rights holders use official data, they can better monitor for irregularities and ensure that betting markets reflect the actual events on the court.
The agreement also enables the deployment of more complex betting products. These include micro-betting capabilities, where users can wager on the outcome of a single point or a specific game rather than just the overall match result.
The Championships is one of the most iconic properties in global sport. Working exclusively with the All England Club allows us to bring the most accurate, real-time data from Wimbledon into the global betting ecosystem, and to the integrity services we will also provide. By integrating advanced live markets and micro betting capabilities, we’re enabling our partners to deliver more immersive engagement throughout every point, game and set.
Moritz Gloeckler, EVP Rights and Strategic Projects Sportradar
The All England Club highlighted the importance of global delivery in its decision to extend the partnership.
We are pleased to extend our relationship with Sportradar and for the distribution of Wimbledon’s official data and audiovisual betting rights. Ensuring that accurate, official data from The Championships is delivered globally is important for protecting the integrity of our event while supporting innovation in how fans engage with the sport.
Paul Davies, Associate Director, Broadcast, Production & Media Rights at the All England Club
As the sports betting landscape evolves, the reliance on high-speed, verified data has increased. The partnership ensures that Wimbledon remains at the forefront of this technological shift while maintaining strict control over how its intellectual property is used in the gambling sector.
