Surgeon Invents Smart Pillbox to Prevent Medication Errors

Medication errors during the transition from hospital to home represent a significant risk to patient safety. To identify these obstacles, the study team reviewed technical issue logs, team meeting minutes, and patient exit surveys. These surveys provided both quantitative data on patient satisfaction and free-text responses regarding the user experience.
