Táborsko secured a 3-0 victory over Příbram in a rescheduled match of the Czech National League, moving level on points with league leaders Zbrojovko Brno despite having played one more game.
The decisive performance came from striker Lukáš Matějka, who completed a hat-trick to guide his side to the win. Matějka opened the scoring in the second minute with a header, doubled the lead 12 minutes in after a corner kick and completed his treble shortly after halftime in the 53rd minute.
Táborsko extended their unbeaten run to six consecutive games in the league, while Příbram suffered their first loss in five matches, dropping to tenth place in the standings.
Following the result, Táborsko sits second in the National League table with 25 points from 11 games, level with Zbrojovko Brno who lead on 25 points from 10 fixtures. Opava remain in third with 18 points.
Matějka’s three goals also moved him to the top of the league’s scoring charts.
The match was attended by 580 spectators and officiated by referee Orel, assisted by Cichra and Ježek. Matějka received a yellow card during the game.
In other league action, Artis Brno also recorded a victory, maintaining their position in the playoff contention spots.
