K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has partnered with UNICEF for a new global campaign focused on youth mental health, titled “TOGETHER FOR TOMORROW.” The campaign was announced during a press conference on Tuesday, April 28, according to Billboard.

The collaboration builds on an initial campaign launch in October, where TXT visited UNICEF’s New York City offices. At that time, the group emphasized the importance of expressing emotions and creating a safe space for young people to openly discuss their mental well-being.

In a newly released video accompanying the campaign, members HUENINGKAI, TAEHYUN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, and SOOBIN engage with children on a minimalist set. Leader SOOBIN narrates in Korean, stating, “How are you feeling today? Rather than trying to change you, we just stay by your side.” He continues, “Hard days happen, we’ve been through it too. Asking for help doesn’t mean you are weak. Taking care of yourself and leaning on others for support is a sign of strength. Because together, we can be ready for a better tomorrow.”

The video concludes with TXT and the children enthusiastically proclaiming the campaign’s title: “Together for tomorrow!”

TXT has achieved significant success on the Billboard 200 chart, with 13 releases reaching the ranking to date. This partnership underscores the group’s commitment to using its platform to address important social issues.

During the initial campaign launch in October, BIGHIT MUSIC, TXT’s record label, pledged $1.4 million to support youth programs and efforts aimed at reducing the stigma surrounding mental health challenges.

Continued Advocacy for Youth Mental Health

SOOBIN articulated the group’s motivation during the October launch, stating, “Through our musical journey, we have learned that expressing emotion is a sign of strength.” He added, “Now with our campaign with UNICEF, we want to help create a safe and inclusive space for youth to freely express their emotions.”

This latest initiative reinforces the growing trend of K-pop artists leveraging their influence to advocate for mental health awareness and support among their fans and the wider public. The “TOGETHER FOR TOMORROW” campaign aims to provide resources and encouragement for young people worldwide to prioritize their mental well-being and seek help when needed.

The partnership between TOMORROW X TOGETHER and UNICEF signifies a collaborative effort to address a critical issue facing young people globally, utilizing the power of music and advocacy to foster positive change.
