The University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) softball team defeated the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) Wolf Pack 5-3 in the first game of a three-game Mountain West series on May 1, 2026.
The victory served as a milestone for the Rebels’ head coach, marking her 400th career win and her 250th victory while leading the UNLV program.
Following the result, UNLV and UNR are now tied for second place in the Mountain West league standings. Both programs have already secured positions in the Mountain West Softball Championships.
