Vogue Williams Joins Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special Line-Up: What to Expect!

Irish TV presenter and podcaster Vogue Williams joins the cast of the 2024 Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special. Williams, who hails from Portmarnock, Dublin, is married to Spencer Matthews, a former star of Made In Chelsea. She will partner with professional dancer Carlos Gu for this special episode.

A total of six celebrities will compete for the title of Strictly Christmas Champion. Previously announced contestants include drag artist Tayce and comedian Josh Widdecombe.

Williams expressed her excitement about participating, stating, “I’m so excited to join the Strictly family.” She humorously noted, “Carlos would have more of a chance of winning a Nobel Prize than turning me into a good dancer but I am determined to try my very best. I’m loving it so far, bring on the ballroom floor.”

Three more celebrities will be unveiled on Strictly: It Takes Two, where Williams’ participation was announced.

Vogue Williams has hosted various documentaries, including Wild Girls, On The Edge and The Afterlife. She also runs popular podcasts like My Therapist Ghosted Me and Vogue And Spencer.

In 2012, she competed on Dancing With The Stars Australia, alongside professional dancer Christopher Page. They were the third couple to be eliminated from the show.

Williams frequently appears on ITV’s Lorraine for fashion segments. She also hosted radio shows on Heart Radio and BBC.

Williams and Spencer Matthews got engaged in January 2018 and married in June the same year. They have three children: Theodore, Gigi, and Otto.

Tayce, the first drag artist on the show, follows Williams in the celebrity lineup. The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special will air on BBC One on Christmas Day.
