Weekend News Live: Bloomberg Hosts Analyze Top Headlines with Expert Guests from Politics, Law and Media

Bloomberg announced the launch of “Bloomberg This Weekend,” a new live weekend news program expanding the network’s coverage to seven days a week, with its debut scheduled for February 28, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. ET.

The program will be hosted by David Gura, Christina Ruffini, and Lisa Mateo, who will bring clarity, context, and a bit of humor to the weekend’s biggest headlines live from New York.

Carolyn Cremen has been named executive producer of the new live weekend show, which will simulcast worldwide on Bloomberg’s audio, video, and digital platforms.

The three-hour broadcast will combine live reporting from Bloomberg’s 3,000 journalists and analysts with in-depth conversations featuring lawmakers, business leaders, and cultural icons.

David Gura, an award-winning anchor and correspondent for Bloomberg TV and Radio, brings extensive experience covering the intersection of Wall Street and Washington, having reported from across the United States and around the world.

Christina Ruffini, an Emmy-award winning foreign affairs journalist and anchor, joins Bloomberg after serving as a contributing host for NBC, MSNBC/MS Now, and The Atlantic Live.

Lisa Mateo will keep audiences up-to-date on the latest headlines, bringing energy, efficiency, and clarity to the news coverage.
