Zayn Malik Announces New Album Konnakol and First Solo Arena Tour

Zayn Malik has released his fifth studio album, Konnakol, and announced his largest solo tour to date, marking a significant return to the global stage following his time with One Direction.

The album, released on April 17, 2026, via Mercury Records/Island Records U.K., includes the previously released track “Sideways” and the lead single “Die For Me.” It follows his 2024 album Room Under the Stairs, which peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart.

Zayn co-produced Konnakol with Malay, continuing a collaboration that began with his debut solo album Mind of Mine (2016) and its follow-up Icarus Falls (2018). The album’s title references the South Indian Carnatic music tradition of vocal percussion, which Zayn describes as “the act of creating percussive sounds with one’s voice” and a sound tied to “the reverberation of a time before words existed.”

In support of the album, Zayn is embarking on The Konnakol Tour, a 32-date global run produced by Live Nation. The tour begins on May 12, 2026, at the AO Arena in Manchester, England, and concludes on November 20, 2026, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. It marks his first time headlining arenas and stadiums across multiple continents since leaving One Direction in 2015.

The tour itinerary includes stops in Dublin, Glasgow, Birmingham, and London in the UK; Monterrey, Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, and Mexico City in Mexico; and cities across North and South America, including Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, St. Paul, and others, before concluding in Miami.

Presale tickets for the tour began on February 10, 2026, with general sale following the next day through platforms such as Ticketmaster and inzayn.com. Zayn announced the tour on February 5, 2026, via Instagram, calling it his “first ever headline arena & stadium tour.”

Prior to the tour, Zayn completed his first-ever Las Vegas residency earlier in 2026, where he debuted and teased unreleased material from Konnakol. He is scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on April 21, 2026, for a late-night TV interview and performance, followed by an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on April 23, 2026.

Zayn first gained global fame as a member of One Direction, becoming the first to depart the group for a solo career. His debut single “Pillowtalk” reached No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Official U.K. Singles Chart, and his first album, Mind of Mine, topped charts in both the U.S. And the U.K.
