Samsung is introducing its Micro RGB television lineup to the Thai market for 2026, focusing on a high-end strategy that leverages artificial intelligence and advanced display technology. The new series is launched under the concept screen that doesn’t reject advancement, signaling a push toward next-generation home entertainment.

The Micro RGB lineup incorporates several technical enhancements designed to improve visual performance and user interaction. Central to the new offering is the Vision AI Companion (VAC), an AI-driven feature intended to optimize the viewing experience. The televisions feature Glare Free technology to reduce light reflections on the screen, improving clarity in various lighting environments.

Premium Market Strategy in Thailand

The launch of the Micro RGB series is part of a broader strategy to target the premium consumer segment, even amidst challenging economic conditions. This approach contrasts with the general structure of the Thai television market.

Chawapot Thianthong, Director of Visual and Audio Business at Thai Samsung Electronics, stated that the overall television market in Thailand is divided into two primary zones: a volume zone, which accounts for 70% of the market and focuses on quantity and accessible pricing, and a premium zone, which accounts for 30%.

Thianthong noted that Samsung’s internal sales structure in Thailand is the opposite of the general market trend, with the company’s sales being heavily driven by the premium zone. By prioritizing the high-end segment, Samsung aims to maintain its momentum in the region.

This strategic focus aligns with the company’s global standing, as Samsung has remained the world’s number one television market leader for 20 consecutive years.

Consumer Incentives and Availability

To coincide with the introduction of the 2026 AI TV lineup, Samsung is providing promotional offers for customers who register early. These incentives are designed to encourage adoption of the new AI-integrated hardware.

Eligible registrants can receive a discount of 2,020 baht on their purchase. The company is offering complementary gifts valued at 16,490 baht for those who sign up for the promotion.

The rollout of the Micro RGB series reflects Samsung’s ongoing investment in display innovation, moving toward more intelligent, AI-centric hardware to differentiate its premium offerings from standard volume-market displays.
