[경기인터넷신문=이은미 기자] Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and the Jeju Film and Culture Industry Promotion Agency are taking the lead in promoting video and film-related events held in the province together with Jeju residents and in expanding the province’s video culture.

The Promotion Agency announced that it held the 2024 Video Culture Promotion Support Project Citizen Review Group Inauguration Ceremony at the Jeju Content Korea Lab Muddle Cozy on the 28th.

The inauguration ceremony proceeded in the following order: introduction of distinguished guests, welcome speech, awarding of activity certificates, business and activity information, self-introduction of review group members, and discussion of schedule. The 10 members of the provincial review group who received activity certificates on this day took the time to reveal their activity plans and aspirations and pledge to actively participate.

The Jeju Island Citizen Review Group was selected from Jeju Island residents who are interested in video and film-related events in the province, love video and film, and can actively promote the event by leaving reviews of their visits to the event on their personal SNS (social network service).

Afterwards, the Citizen Review Group will visit two or more events selected for the “2024 Video Culture Promotion Support Project” and post reviews on their personal SNS, and will continue to actively engage in activities for the four months leading up to the event (August 28, 2024 ~ December 27, 2024).

Meanwhile, the 2024 Video Culture Promotion Support Project is a project that supports various video and film-related cultural events held in Jeju Island to spread video culture in Jeju Island and provide opportunities for residents to enjoy culture. A total of four events were selected this year.
