(Beijing=Xinhua News Agency) The Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced on the 30th that the ‘2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS)’ will become a key platform for deepening international cooperation and injecting new impetus into global economic development.

Tang Wenhong, Assistant Minister of Commerce of China, said that this year’s CIFTIS will be held in Beijing from September 12 to 16 with the theme of “Global Services, Mutual Benefit Sharing.”

Tang Bujang Joli said that around 80 countries and international organizations will participate in this event. Among them, 13 countries and international organizations, including Portugal and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), will present independent offline exhibition booths for the first time.

This year, the guest country of CIFTIS is France, and a special pavilion commemorating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France will be set up at the site.
