[올댓차이나] Hong Kong stock market starts rising on New York stock market strength… H shares up 1.01% :: Sympathy Media Newsis ::
[서울=뉴시스]Reporter Lee Jae-jun = The Hong Kong stock market opened on the 30th with an upward trend, as investor sentiment was maintained by expectations for China’s policies and the appreciation of the yuan, in addition to the strength of the New York stock market the previous day.
The Hang Seng Index opened at 17,794.41, up 8.09 points, or 0.04%, from the previous day.
The H-share index, which focuses on Chinese companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, opened at 6,254.87, up 7.74 points, or 0.12%, from the previous day.
Automobile stocks are moving steadily together. Internet-related stocks and shipping stocks are also showing strength.
Electric vehicle stocks Weilai, Lixiang, Xiaopeng, BYD, real estate stocks Vanke Enterprise, Yuanyang Group, China Insurance, lifestyle site Meituan Dianping that announced strong earnings results, smartphone stocks Xiaomi, and Zhongyin Hong Kong are all rising sharply.
Geely, auto dealer Zhongsheng HD, China Ping An Insurance, Weifang Insurance, Hong Kong Exchange, Hang Seng Bank, CITIC HD, sanitary product stock Heng An International, bottled water stock Nongfu Sanquan, home appliance stock Haierzhijia, precious metals stock Chow Tai Fu, China Lun Beer, meat processing stock Wanzhou International, sporting goods stock Li Ning, and logistics stock Dongfang Overseas International are also jumping.
Semiconductor stocks such as Zhongxin International, smartphone consignment manufacturing BYD Electronics, optical component stock Sunyu Optics, China’s largest internet service stock by market capitalization Tencent, computer stock Lianxiang Group, e-commerce stock Alibaba, search stock Baidu, online pharmaceutical stocks JD.com, Ali Health, Macau casino stocks Yinhe Entertainment, Hong Kong Chunghwa Gas, and solar panel stock Xinyi Guangneng are rising.
On the other hand, Hansun Pharmaceutical, coal stock China Shenhua, gold stock Zijin Mining, aluminum stock China Hongqiao, gas stocks Xin’ao Energy, China Power, China Petrochemical Corporation, China National Petroleum Corporation, Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Merchants Bank, and China Construction Bank are falling.
The Hang Seng Index was trading at 17,970.09, up 183.77 points, or 1.03%, at 10:34 a.m. (11:34 a.m. Korean time).
The H-share index jumped 63.03 points, or 1.01%, to 6,310.16 as of 10:35 a.m.
