Classical Music for Elementary School Students to Listen to by the Age of 10

Classical Music for Elementary School Students to Listen to by the Age of 10

The second concert of this year’s “Classical Music for Elementary School Students to Listen to by the Age of 10”, which aims to help children become familiar with music while cultivating their sensibilities and leading to spiritual growth, will be held on the afternoon of November 9th. It will be held from 2pm at the City Cultural Hall in Saimyoji, Iga City, Mie Prefecture.

Sponsored by the Iga City Cultural City Association, this year’s theme is “Touch Classics”. This time, we will be watching the “Saint-Saens Septet” performed by the Osaka Symphony Orchestra Ensemble. Some of the performances are limited to children ages 3 and up and elementary school students and younger, and there are plans that allow them to “feel the music” right next to the instruments, such as going up on stage and having the performers come down to the audience seats.

A representative from the association said, “It’s a chance for people to experience unique musical instruments and sounds up close. It’s mainly aimed at children, but adults are welcome to come as well.”

Admission fee is 1,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for children aged 3 and up and elementary school students and younger. Children under 2 years old can watch for free on their guardian’s lap. Tickets are available at the same hall, Aoyama Hall (Abo), electronic ticket sales service “Teket” (https://teket.jp/5744/34627).
