11-Year-Old’s Chilling Threat: Boy’s Alarming Boast of Arsenal Sparks Fears of School Shooting, Lands Him in Handcuffs
11-Year-Old Boy Arrested for Threatening to Shoot at School
An 11-year-old boy in the US was arrested and charged with a felony for making written threats of mass shooting after bragging about having a lot of weapons and threatening to shoot at school. The boy, Carlo ”Kingston” Dorelli, was taken into custody by the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the Volusia County Sheriff, Mike Chitwood, Dorelli was arrested on a felony charge of making a written threat to commit a mass shooting. Chitwood released a video of Dorelli being handcuffed and photos of the boy, as well as a photo of a desk covered with replica assault rifles, samurai swords, and darts.
Chitwood warned parents at a press conference, saying, ”If you don’t want to raise your children, we will help you. When we arrest a child, the photo of the child will be released, and we will catch him.” He emphasized the importance of parents taking responsibility for their children’s actions.
Florida has seen a surge in threats of school shootings, with 54 reports received in one night alone. Chitwood vowed to arrest children who make such threats, saying, ”You little bastards who think you’re funny and you want to be famous on social media, you’re not that smart, you’re going to get arrested.”
Other states have also seen an increase in gun threats. In Foley, Alabama, two teenagers were arrested for threatening to attack a school on social media. In Texas, two 12-year-old boys were arrested for making gun threats, and at least 10 teenagers were arrested for making gun and violent threats within a school year.
A recent school shooting occurred at a middle school in Georgia, killing four people. The 14-year-old gunman, Colt Gray, was charged with four counts of murder and is expected to be tried as an adult.
