Young Boy Dies at Private School, Family Alleges Foul Play
Vasant kunj, Delhi – Tragedy struck a private school in South Delhi on Tuesday morning when a 12-year-old student, Prince, was pronounced dead at a local hospital. While police suspect the cause of death may be seizures, the boy’s family is demanding answers, alleging that Prince was involved in a fight with a classmate prior to his death.
The incident unfolded around 9:45 a.m. when Prince’s father, Sagar, a sanitation worker, received a call from the school informing him that his son had been injured and rushed to a nearby hospital.
“When I reached the hospital, he was already dead,” Sagar said, his voice heavy with grief.
Sagar, who described his son as a healthy child with no history of seizures, expressed disbelief at the school’s description. “My son never had any fits, be it at home or school,” he insisted.
Adding to the family’s suspicions, Sagar revealed that he had heard from Prince’s classmates that the boy had been involved in a fight with another student before collapsing.
“They (classmates) even mentioned that no teacher was present at the time of the fight,” Sagar claimed.
Police arrived at the hospital around 10:15 a.m. after receiving a call from the medical facility. While the body showed no visible signs of injury, officers noted a foam-like substance coming from Prince’s mouth, raising further questions about the circumstances surrounding his death.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident, interviewing students and teachers to piece together the events leading up to Prince’s death.
The school has yet to release a statement regarding the incident.
