1204 New Public Servants Join Togo’s Ministry of Economy and Finance

Togo has recruited 1,204 new public finance agents to strengthen its Ministry of Economy and Finance, according to official announcements made public on April 24, 2026.

The recruits were declared successful following a competitive examination held on December 21, 2024, with results published by the Ministry of Public Service on April 23, 2026. The new agents will fill technical roles across the financial administration, including positions such as financial administrators, analysts, audit and management control officers, tax specialists, statisticians, economists, econometricians, treasury inspectors, macroeconomists, banking finance specialists, public procurement experts, and civil administrators.

This recruitment drive is part of a broader governmental strategy to modernize public administration and enhance the capacity of state institutions in economic and financial management. Authorities stated that the initiative aims to improve both the size and quality of the civil service workforce in response to growing demands for effective economic governance.

Beyond institutional strengthening, the hiring supports national employment promotion policies.
