Two spectators died during the ATP Finals in Turin, Italy, on November 18, 2023, during matches featuring Taylor Fritz and Jannik Sinner. On-site medical personnel responded instantly, providing assistance, but both individuals, aged 70 and 78, tragically passed away after being transferred to a local hospital.
Play was temporarily halted during taylor Fritz’s match against Lorenzo Musetti while medical staff attended to the emergency. Fritz ultimately defeated Musetti 6-3, 6-4.
