Jung Kook, of BTS fame, has solidified his presence as a dominant force in the K-pop scene, achieving notable milestones in his solo career. His impact spans across music charts, awards, and even the screen, marking a year of unprecedented success.
Billboard recognized Jung Kook as the top K-pop artist in America, based on his activity on the Billboard 200 albums chart, Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, and billboard Boxscore touring data from January 2023 through December 2023. This recognition underscores his popularity and influence in the U.S.music market.
His hit song ”Seven,” featuring Latto, earned the Song of the Year by Download – Asia at the 2024 Japan Gold Disc Awards, further cementing his impact in Japan’s music market. This follows his 2023 win for “Left and Right” with Charlie Puth.
The iHeartRadio Music Awards crowned Jung Kook as K-pop Artist of the Year, highlighting the strong support from fans and radio for his album, Golden. Additionally, “Seven” secured the Song of the Year award at the inaugural Asia Star Entertainer Awards in Yokohama, Japan.
As part of BTS’s 11th-anniversary celebrations, BIGHIT MUSIC released Jung Kook’s song “Never Let Go” on June 7, 2024.The song became his seventh entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, setting a new record for a K-pop soloist.
Jung Kook ventured into television, co-starring with fellow BTS member Jimin in the Disney+ travel reality show Are You Sure?! the series, which aired from August 8 through September 19, 2024, showcased their adventures and camaraderie. The duo received a nomination in the “Favourite On Screen” category at the 2025 iHeartRadio Awards.
His documentary, I Am Still, premiered in cinemas across 120 territories starting September 18, 2024. the film offered an intimate look at his artistic evolution during the Golden era.Due to fan demand, “Party Edition” screenings with additional singalong videos were added.

The Huading Awards in China recognized Jung Kook as Asia’s Most Popular Male Singer, further demonstrating his international appeal. in October 2024, it was revealed that Usher had invited Jung Kook to perform at the Super Bowl LVIII halftime Show, an offer he couldn’t accept due to service duties.

In March 2025, Jung Kook donated ₩1 billion to the Hope bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association for wildfire relief and firefighter support, demonstrating his commitment to social responsibility.
