The CP Holiday Train will travel through North Dakota this December, bringing festive cheer and music. The train is back after a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021. It delighted fans in 2023 and will continue its journey this year.
Schedule Highlights
The Holiday Train lights up North Dakota from December 16 to 17. It will stop at various locations, offering a concert at each stop. Here are the details:

Monday, December 16th
- Hankinson: Arrives at 6:30 PM, performance from 6:45 PM to 7:15 PM.
- Enderlin: Arrives at 9:05 PM, performance from 9:15 PM to 9:45 PM.
- Tuesday, December 17th
- Carrington: Arrives at 1:30 PM, performance from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM.
- Harvey: Arrives at 3:45 PM, performance from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
- Minot: Arrives at 6:30 PM, performance from 6:45 PM to 7:15 PM.
- Kenmare: Arrives at 8:30 PM, performance from 8:45 PM to 9:15 PM.
This year, country singer Alana Springsteen and the band Seaforth will perform along the route.
Community Support
The Holiday Train also supports local food banks. Attendees are encouraged to bring food donations or contribute online. Donations will go to local food pantries, including:
- Carrington Daily Bread in Carrington
- Central Dakota Food Pantry in Harvey
- Minot Area Homeless Shelter Coalition in Minot
- Kenmare Food Pantry in Kenmare
Since its start in 1999, the CP Holiday Train has raised over $21 million and collected more than 5 million pounds of food for food banks across North America.
