The 2025 Chapel Hill Super Regional pits the North Carolina Tar Heels against the Arizona Wildcats in a crucial baseball showdown. The series, a best-of-three format, will determine which team advances to the Men’s college World Series (MCWS). Games are scheduled to begin either June 6 or June 7 at North Carolina’s Boshamer Stadium.
North Carolina, the overall No. 5 seed with a 45-13 record, earned their Super Regional berth after winning the ACC Tournament and then their regional, which included a rematch victory against Oklahoma. This marks the second consecutive year the Tar Heels will host a Super Regional.
Arizona (42-18), the No.2 seed from the Eugene regional, also enters the Super Regional on the heels of a conference tournament victory (Big 12). The Wildcats dominated their regional competition, scoring 31 runs across three wins against Cal Poly (twice) and Utah Valley.
