Iowa ABI Conference to Focus on Business Growth in Council Bluffs

the Iowa Association of Business and industry (ABI) will hold its 2025 Taking Care of Business Conference in Council Bluffs from June 10–12. This annual event provides a space for Iowa business leaders to connect, share ideas, and gain valuable insights on Iowa business and industry trends.
The three-day conference will feature a range of breakout sessions and prominent keynote speakers. Among those presenting are Michael Happe,president and CEO of Winnebago Industries; Shannon Huffman Polson,founder of The Grit Institute and author of “the Grit Factor”; and Carolyn Lee,president and executive director of The Manufacturing Institute.
A highlight of the conference will be the live announcement of the winner of the 2025 coolest Thing Made in Iowa competition, showcasing Iowa manufacturing and innovation.
“The Taking Care of Business Conference is all about bringing leaders together,” ABI President Nicole Crain said. “We are excited to host this energizing event in Council Bluffs for the first time in ABI’s 122-year history.”
