Min Woo Lee‍ Leads Rocket Classic After Opening Round

DETROIT ⁢- Min Woo Lee shot a stellar opening-round⁣ 63 at Detroit Golf Club on‍ Thursday, taking the lead at the 2025 Rocket Classic.With the Open Championship just weeks away, players are looking to fine-tune their skills, and Lee seems to⁤ be doing ‍just that after carding 10⁢ birdies.
⁣

⁣ Lee, 26, credited⁤ his putter for his ⁢strong performance. He expressed his fondness for the course,recalling his near-win last year.

⁢ ⁤ “Everything was pretty solid,” Lee said. “I think the putter was working quite nicely though… I have⁢ good vibes here.I played really well last year ⁢and had a good chance to ⁤win, so I actually really like this place, and [making] some birdies.”

Lee tees off Friday afternoon at 12:43 p.m. ET with Cam Davis and ‍Wyndham Clark.
