Anticipation is already running high, with Taitung’s accommodation rate exceeding 80% for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. “The impressive lineup for the county government’s New Year’s Eve party has led to a surge in bookings,” said Bu Minzheng, director of the Transportation and Tourism Progress Department of Taitung County Government.”We encourage everyone to come and experience the warmth and beauty of Taitung as we welcome 2025.”
To further boost tourism and support local businesses, the county government is offering “Dong Piao” shopping vouchers worth NT$200 each to the first 2,000 attendees. These vouchers can be redeemed at designated stalls at the event, encouraging visitors to explore local flavors and contribute to Taitung’s economic recovery.Foodies will delight in the selection of local food vendors offering delicious treats around the venue. A large TV wall will also be set up, allowing attendees to enjoy live projections of the performances while savoring their meals.
