Broadway’s biggest night, the 2025 Tony Awards, is set for Sunday, June 8, at Radio City Music Hall. Cynthia Erivo will host the ceremony, which celebrates the best of Broadway. The awards show will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ with Showtime.
Coverage begins well before the main event. Playbill will stream red carpet arrivals live on its YouTube channel starting at 4 p.m. ET. The official preshow, “The Tony Awards: Act one,” hosted by Darren Criss and Renée Elise Goldsberry, will stream on Pluto TV at 6:40 p.m. ET. The main Tony awards ceremony starts at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+ for Showtime subscribers.
Three musicals—Buena Vista Social Club, Death Becomes Her, and Maybe Happy Ending—top the list of Tony Awards nominations with 10 each. They are competing for Best Musical alongside Dead Outlaw and Operation Mincemeat. Other notable nominees include Dead Outlaw, John Proctor is the Villain, and Sunset Blvd.
