2026 Exhibitions: Přemyslovci, Anna Jagellonská, Headless Rider & Toyen & Jindřich Štyrský
The national Gallery Prague is celebrating 230 years since its founding, or rather, since the establishment of the Society of Patriotic Friends of Art, one of its predecessors. The anniversary will be commemorated wiht an exhibition at the Veletržní Palác.
However,the NGP has only a few major exhibitions planned. The main project will be Anna Jagellonská (1503-1547) at the Valdštejnská jízdárna. It is being prepared for the 500th anniversary of the accession of the Habsburg dynasty to the Czech throne and the emergence of the Habsburg monarchy in Central Europe.
