Equipment Diversity and Manufacturing Numbers
According to Golf’s equipment count, players used a total of 38 different iron models from 10 distinct manufacturers to win the 34 regulation-season events on the PGA Tour in 2026. Titleist emerged as the most popular iron manufacturer, featuring in the bag of nine individual tournament winners. Players frequently utilized mixed or combo sets from Titleist, taking advantage of forgiving models in the 3-5 iron range while leaning on models designed for more feel and control in the 7-9 iron area. Wyndham Clark captured a second U.S. Open title by employing a Titleist T100 setup in his 6-through-9 irons alongside a T200, while Tom Kim opted for a T100 4-through-9 iron configuration. Other notable Titleist winners included Alex Fitzpatrick, Russell Henley, and JT Poston, all of whom carried T100 irons from the 5-iron to the 9-iron. Cameron Young also secured victories using a Titleist T100 5-iron and a custom 631.CY prototype set, while Jackson Koivun put a T100 4-iron in play to win the 3M Open. Additional Titleist models that reached the winner’s circle included the T200, T250, 620 MB, 620 CB, and T150.
TaylorMade, Ping, and Srixon Victories
Beyond Titleist, manufacturers like TaylorMade, Ping, and Srixon combined for 29 victories during the 2026 campaign, according to Golf. Collin Morikawa, Jacob Bridgeman, Rory McIlroy, Aaron Rai, and Michael Thorbjornsen all relied on TaylorMade combo sets, while Scottie Scheffler played a nearly full bag of TaylorMade equipment, including a Srixon ZU85 4-iron. McIlroy specifically utilized a set of Rors Protos irons during his Masters victory, and Bridgeman won the Genesis Invitational using a decade-old TaylorMade TP UDI utility iron. Ping established itself as the third most popular iron brand on tour. Matt Fitzpatrick secured three victories using a set of 13-year-old Ping S55 irons, and Viktor Hovland won the Travelers Championship in June using Ping i210 irons from 2018. Srixon claimed the fourth spot in manufacturer popularity, highlighted by Ryan Fox winning The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale with a prototype Srixon ZXi5+ iron alongside traditional ZXi5 and ZXi7 models also used by Nico Echavarria and JJ Spaun.
Callaway, Bridgestone, and Boutique Brands
Rounding out the remaining equipment manufacturers, Callaway secured five wins in 2026, while Bridgestone notched three victories thanks to Chris Gotterup and his Tour B 220 MB irons. Justin Rose captured the Farmers Insurance Open using Miura TC-202 and Miura MC-502 irons, while Akshay Bhatia and Stefano Mazzoli utilized five different Callaway irons for their respective wins. Gary Woodland combined a Wilson utility iron with Cobra King Tour and King MB irons to win the Texas Children’s Houston Open, and Steven Fisk relied on Mizuno Pro S3 irons from the 5-iron to the pitching wedge to win the ISCO Championship.
