WM Phoenix Open Heads to Exciting Finish as Matsuyama Leads

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – The WM Phoenix Open is set for a dramatic final round on Sunday, February 8, 2026, with nine players within two shots of the lead. Hideki Matsuyama, a two-time champion of the event and 11-time PGA Tour winner, holds a one-stroke advantage at TPC Scottsdale.

The final round promises an exciting conclusion to the week, serving as a popular lead-up to Super Bowl LXI. Golf fans can catch all the action on Golf Channel from 12 p.m. To 3 p.m. ET, followed by coverage on CBS from 3 p.m. To 6 p.m. ET. ESPN+ will also provide live coverage from 11 a.m. To 6 p.m. ET, and the tournament can be heard on Sirius XM from 1 p.m. To 6 p.m. ET.

The Leaders

As of the end of the third round, Hideki Matsuyama leads at 13-under par. Four players are tied for second place at 12-under: Maverick McNealy, Nicolai Højgaard, Si Woo Kim, and Ryo Hisatsune. Michael Thorbjornsen, Jake Knapp, and Akshay Bhatia are tied for sixth at 11-under.

Si Woo Kim finished with a tournament-best 9-under 62 on Saturday, while McNealy and Højgaard each shot 6-under 65s on moving day.

Betting Odds

According to BetMGM, Hideki Matsuyama is the favorite to win the tournament with odds of +250. Si Woo Kim follows at +550, with Maverick McNealy and Nicolai Hojgaard both at +650. Matt Fitzpatrick and Ryo Hisatsune are both listed at +1200, while Jake Knapp and Michael Thorbjornsen are at +1400. Scottie Scheffler is further back at +2500.
