Though, sources have now confirmed that the zombie in question is not Murphy, but art dealer and model Angus Neill.
Neill, who stands at an imposing 6’2″ with a 28-inch waist, spoke to The Guardian about his experience working on the film. “Danny [Boyle, the director] told me he’d always had me in mind for the role,” Neill shared. “So we met up, hit it off, and I agreed to take part. On set he has an extraordinary ability to hypnotize you, and working with him on the film was a very, very intense experience.”
The confusion highlights the immense anticipation surrounding Murphy’s involvement in the new trilogy.While he is rumored to have a brief appearance in the first film, his role is expected to expand in the subsequent installments.
