30c/kg off-season bonus for Certified Angus
Certified Irish Angus Announces Off-Season Bonus for Spring 2025
Certified Irish Angus has introduced a significant 30c per kilogram off-season bonus for the upcoming spring. This initiative, in partnership with processor giants ABP and Kepak, aims to incentivize beef producers during a time when market conditions are particularly promising. The bonus will be applied to Angus animals slaughtered between March 24 and May 30, 2025, complementing the existing Farm Quality Assurance bonus of 20c per kilogram.
The news comes as a welcome reward for beef producers who have been navigating through the unpredictable changes in the beef market. Improved beef prices and a growing demand for high-quality Angus beef have turned the tide in favor of producers. Certified Irish Angus General Manager, Charles Smith, expressed his gratitude at the announcement. “We are delighted to be able to deliver this bonus in a spring where we see beef prices rise beyond everyone’s expectations; this is a welcome reward for beef producers,”
