New Renderings of 343 Madison Avenue
343 Madison Avenue is a new 40-story skyscraper in Midtown East, Manhattan. Kohn Pedersen Fox designed the building, and BXP is the developer. This tower will contain 950,000 square feet of office space and various amenities. The site is located between East 44th and 45th Streets along Madison Avenue.
The building features three main tiers with shallow setbacks that create terrace spaces. The exterior consists of a light glass curtain wall, which illuminates around the setbacks. The core wall is on the eastern side and extends above the roof.
Floor plates vary: the podium has 27,500 square feet, while the tower has 22,000 square feet. Amenities include conference spaces on the top floors, featuring indoor-outdoor biophilic terraces, a lobby café, bicycle storage, showers, and cabanas for cyclists.
343 Madison Avenue’s design is fully electric and zero-carbon. It has received LEED Platinum and WELL Core certifications and aims for WiredScore Platinum and Energy Star 85+ certifications.
The location near Grand Central Terminal provides access to multiple train lines, including the 4, 5, 6, 7, and Metro-North Railroad.
Construction is expected to finish in 2026.
