35 million… supports Simakan Al-Nasr Defense
Al-Nasr Club has reached an agreement with its German counterpart, Leipzig, stipulating the transfer of French player Mohamed Simakan, the latter’s defender, to the ranks of the yellow team for five years, in exchange for 35 million euros. Riyadiya from personal sources.
Three teams, two clubs and the player, are waiting for the deal to be formalized, so the Frenchman can fly to the Saudi capital Riyadh to begin his career with Al-Nasr.
The contract fee is equal to the market value of the player who turned 24 last May 3.
Simakan plays the position of central defense and can also play as a right back.
At the football foundation level, the defender went through 7 different French clubs, the most important of which were Marseille and Strasbourg, and was linked with the latter from 2017 to 2021 before moving to Leipzig.
The player carried the German club’s logo for 3 previous seasons, as opposed to the current one, and scored 7 goals and made 13 in 122 matches with it.
Simakan won three local titles with Leipzig, including two cup championships and one Super Cup.
The player, whose parents are Guinean, has represented France, the country of his birth, in the senior division, and has never appeared in his first national team jersey.
