September 2024 Salaries to be Disbursed Early
The Ministry of Finance has announced that it will start disbursing September 2024 salaries from Sunday, September 22, instead of the scheduled date of September 26, 2024. The salaries will be disbursed within 5 days, on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of the due date.
This decision comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to ease the process of salary disbursement and provide necessary liquidity to workers in various sectors. The ministry has urged employees of administrative agencies not to rush to the ATM machines, as salaries will be available anytime from the start date of disbursements fixed for all administrative agencies.
Where to Collect September 2024 Salaries
The Ministry has provided several places where working citizens can collect their salaries for the month of September 2024, including:
- Automated Teller Machines (ATMs)
- Various bank branches
- Egyptian Post
The Reality of Pay Rise
Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouli explained the reality of future wage increases at a press conference, noting that the incentives will be different, as they may be in the form of price reductions. The government is studying the salary file within the framework of the budget makers, adding that “it was… a 4-month move to raise wages, and we have a few months to revise this file.”
